This week i had lots of fun but the biggest thing that happened was another blizzard, this time it was worse but the trains didnt stop this time, they were only really late. so i will be doing a pictures email again since i think its a really good idea. here goes. First i made a snow angel then we ate at matsuo grandmas for seijinshiki (becoming an adult celebration) It was super fun, very good food!
this is what we ate at matsuo grandmas house, also hirata choro and i were the only ones in the district who turned 20 the last year so its just us becoming adults here.
then on tuesday we had lunch with the Yamamoto family and they made us katsudon and some chicken sandwichs which were amazing by the way! We ate so much food!!!
the yamamoto family and our district! That night we had eikaiwa and we had a really fun time learning english together with just me teaching english!
we found a very large icicle and i had to pick it up (yes it was cold its made of ice) Then that night after grapping some stuff to make croquets with we found a bunch of bikes buried with snow (by the way today we couldnt see them at all completely gone)
i found some chili sauce which i happily bought after 3 seconds of thinking it over! (its pretty hot and flavorful yesss!!!) and then i got a package from home! pugs and kisses
so like i put my face into the snow and filmed it (the videos too big but yeah) it really hurt. The other picture is more food from matsu grandmas house, the stuff on the left is anko soup with some mochi in it, yuss.
this is me after playing around before the blizzard came, it was already (what i thought was blizzarding) then the wind and snow picked up, and yeah the church parking lot, by the way its not much but it was clear about 30 minutes earlier so theres that.
so theres the actually time and the trains are scheduled for about 6 o clock but yeah its eight, luckily we left really early to get home. blizzards am i right?
you make a mountain of snow for a grandma and she gives you a pot full of ramen, hahaha yeah i love this place!
[email Amy for a copy of the video \/ )
this is me biffing in the snow after a long day of walking, thanks to my companion elder Asato for filming it, I LOVE SNOW!
